Browse a Haystack
An organization's Haystack contains live profiles of its people. View all, or dig in to find the individuals from an organization who share your interests, experience, or alma mater.  Here are some example Haystacks that have been set up by big companies, small companies and organizations.

Look closer
Click on a profile to get a snapshot of a person, see their bio, and get a first-hand view into their background.  Since Haystack profiles are also "live," you also can see the latest thoughts from an individual's blog. People are not two-dimensional. Neither are profiles in Haystack.

Find, don’t search
Moving around within a Haystack is done by clicking on tags, which are grouped into convenient categories.  Want to know the credentials of the individuals within an organization?  Look for categories such as "Past Clients" or " Employers," and then click on a tag to find the individuals who share that experience. Want to know what these people do outside the office? Look for a category such as "Interests." Who knows...the organization you are getting to know might have folks who not only understand your business, but also might be people you can really get along with.

Connect with one click
For individuals within a Haystack who have enabled Skype presence, connecting with them is just a click away.  Click on the Skype indicator to connect directly with that person.  An end to voicemail hell! (You can always send an email or call someone directly via phone as well.)

Grow a network
There will be people from across the Haystack network with whom you'll want to stay in touch.    Are there people in Haystack you you often go to for referrals? Are there experts whose insight on which you rely? "My Network" allows you to keep track of them in one convenient place.

Make a referral
Is their someone in your Haystack network who really knows their stuff?  Easily refer them to other colleagues with a click.
